11 Remove the hoop from the machine and place it on a pressing pad. Position a 5" background square, right side up, over the reference square. Use a mini iron to fuse it in place, making sure the reference square is covered.
12 Return the hoop to the machine. Allow the fleur-de-lys placement design to stitch out.
13 Position the 4" fabric square right side up over the fleur-de-lys placement design. Start the machine and allow the fleur-de-lys design to stitch out again, tacking the fabric down (tacking line). Remove the hoop from the machine.
